Southmore is zoned Comprehensive Ski Village under the Municipality of Crowsnest Pass Land Use Bylaw. The intent of the zone is to provide for the development of residential, recreational and related activities in a ski village consistent with the approved area structure plan.
A Southmore homesite comes with a commitment to begin the construction of a dwelling on site within two years. The Land Use Regulations provide an opportunity to meet this building commitment through the construction of an accessory building (eg. a garage with a “granny suite” above); thereby providing extra time needed to ensure your perfect vision for a mountain home is constructed.
